Growing up, I never saw myself in a career other than an engineer and I am excited to enter the construction industry at a time when new technology is being explored and fascinating projects are rising. What made me want to have a career in construction was the vast opportunities and projects that are within the industry. You will never build the same thing twice in the exact same way. There are always new challenges and problems that arise, keeping you on your toes. No day is the same as the previous one. Over the past several years, inside and outside the classroom, I have learned and applied many skills and strategies that I have, and hope to continue to use in day-to-day life in the workplace once I graduate. I am grateful that I have had the opportunity to explore my future career early on in life and wish to help other kids or students in finding what they want to put their life towards.
