About Jaclyn Brown
I am one of those who chose to leave Corporate America to pursue my passion of reducing the stigma surrounding substance use disorder and drug use, empowering others to tell their stories, and changing the conversation around addiction and mental health.I have been a mentor/trainer in my various roles throughout my career and recently became a Public Narrative Coach, which was originally adapted from the works of Marshall Ganz of Harvard University. I am the Volunteer Coordinator for Shot in the Dark, which is a Phoenix based non-profit syringe service program. I am a Field Organizer for the Recovery Advocacy Project. Additionally, I am the Chair for the Family Caucus, which is an initiative of the Recovery Advocacy Project and Partnership to End Addiction.I host my own podcast, Dark and Enlightened, where I have open and honest conversations about "dark" and stigmatized topics, in hopes of leaving listeners a little more enlightened than they were before.I am looking to transition to organize, coach, and/or advocate full time.
