Work with Logistics, Legal, Finance & Sales to resolve potential deficiencies & billing disputes by researching billing errors.Monitor bookings & backlog changes processed by Customer Order Representatives to confirm completeness.Manage all billings related to customer Service Request transactions, ensuring SOX compliance. Work with Service Management, Finance & Customers to resolve potential deficiencies & billing disputes by researching billing errors.Responsible for ensuring billing activities are in compliance with contractual obligations.Develop & implement reconciliation tools that monitor for aged transactions.Responsible for reviewing & approving credit memo transactions.Participate in cross-functional team meetings across CMSU to enable knowledge management & consistency of processes across business functions.Develop & apply appropriate controls & procedures within the department to ensure the highest level of accuracy is achieved.Lead the internal & external audit for SOX related to Equipment order booking & billing and Service billing. Provide evidence & field questions related to bookings & billings transactions and workflows.Responsible for guiding system enhancements & testing pertaining to order management & service billings, including updates & reports.Provide insight & subject matter expertise on order management & service billings processes for companywide projects & initiatives. Identify the impact on current processes, provide alternatives, & find solutions for implementation.Define & maintain key performance indicators (KPI’s) with a focus on allocating team resources to effectively meet the dynamic needs of Business Operations.Provide training to new Customer Order Representatives & Service Billings Specialist. Fulfill Customer Order Representative & Service Billings Specialist duties as & when required.
