Contractor with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in COVID-19 response.- Lead a team of 6 contractors for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention at the Seattle CDC Quarantine Station, located in the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport, to track and prevent the spread of COVID-19- Collaborated with state and local health departments to track COVID-19 cases for contact investigations for traveling passengers through the states of Washington, Oregon, Idaho, and Montana- Navigated emergency responses with multiple government agencies, such as FEMA, CBP, and TSA- Advised health departments on how to navigate communication with infectious travelers for Do Not Board situations- Lead compliance checks for various airlines to verify passengers were non-infectious- Navigated working relations between airlines and health departments for thorough and efficient air contact investigations- Coordinated with Customs and Border Protection officers for proper importation of biological substances- Supplied hospitals in the Washington, Oregon, Idaho, and Montana jurisdiction with the time-sensitive release and transportation of life-saving anti-toxins- Lead an animal importation tracking initiative and presented an analysis for improved CDC policy- Assessed immigration medical records and delegated priority health cases to various health care facilities
