I have turned a life-long passion for words into a career, writing and editing everything from oilfield manuals to magazine articles. I explored the technical writing, rhetoric, business communications, and creative writing streams as an undergrad, and I mixed it up by focussing on novel-length fiction as a postgrad. (My debut novel The Inquirer (NeWest Press) was published in October 2019.) For over a decade, I worked as a freelance writer/editor and in-house contractor for a variety of clientele through my own company. Now I have merged with Scriptorium, offering the same services as a team. I also have experience teaching online and on-campus for MacEwan and NAIT, and presenting on professional writing through Scriptorium.
