My role was to assist students through the enrollment process - I learned so much about higher education and had an opportunity to begin working towards a master's degree. The university offered many degrees including Nursing, PTA, OTA, OTD and PA - it was really interesting to learn the process that these professionals must go through to get their degree!Learning how to verify professional licensing is something I still use in research today!

As an Assistant Director at a research facility I was responsible for managing the recruiters and respondent database to ensure we found the right mix for consumer, physician, mock jury and rare patient studies. I was also responsible for sourcing the right products on gondola shelves for mock shopping trips, furniture for a cool living room vibe or bedroom set up, and IV poles/sharps containers for Ux studies too! I also managed and assisted our hosting staff to confirm all was recorded and serve our clients as needed for a seemless on site experience. In this role, I really learned the ins and outs of onsite focus groups/IDIs and respondent database management and also learned to multitask and change priorities quickly!

Buying jewelry and visiting stores/ships - I worked at Kay's previously, so understood Fine Jewelry sales, switching to a corporate/supplier side was so eye opening. I really learned so much more of the why, why stores get what they do and how we get it! Things I think about daily mid/post-pandemic! Ship visits were always a highlight too - gives you a whole new appreciation for those in the cruise industry!Beyond the supply chain, this job really taught me the power of excel and how no matter how good I think I may be at excel, there is SO much more it is capable of than even I know!
