I worked in the office at my last job. This consisted of, but is not limited to: copying, faxing, printing from thecomputer, answering the phone, making phone calls, taking payments, organizing and filing papers, gatheringthe patients information, assisting the patient, registering new patients, running errands, working on taxes, andhiring new employees. I also worked on the computer, using Microsoft word, and using Microsoft excel. I tooka computer class, so I am very experienced with Microsoft and using the computer.

At this job I worked in the office, but I was also the "nurse". I assisted the patients for whatever the problemwas. For example: cuts, lacerations, bleeding, temperatures, vomiting, strep throat, or pneumonia . I decidedwhether or not they should go home.Skills UsedWith this job, I needed to be able to stay calm, and get the job done quickly and as possible as I could. I hadto make decisions whether the patient needed to go home, or go to the hospital.

I volunteered at the hospital for 3 years, so I did different things each year. One year I worked in medicalrecords, so I filed and organized patient records. Another year, I worked on the second floor at the front desk,so I answered phone calls, and assisted patients. The last year, I worked in CHI, so I worked on the computer.I filled in the patients medical history and records in hospital's online patient records.
