A dedicated educator with a broad repertoire in education, technology, and writing arts that has allowed me to utilize my skills as an educator to positively impact how students and teachers learn. I have many years of experience in education both Urban and Suburban areas. I majored in Writing Arts and Education for my Undergrad. My passion in Education has lead me to leadership roles as well as social reform. I became an educator because of the connection to students. I quickly saw the disparities and became a DEI (diversity equity and inclusion) advocate for students of all ages and walks of life. I am certified in Early Elementary Education and ELA Writing Arts certified. I also obtained my Supervisor Certification. I am currently enrolled in a Doctoral/ Ed.D Program in Education. Today we are tasked with responding to the region's, nation's, and the world's most persistent educational challenges, those that obstruct access, success, and equity in traditionally underserved communities.2020- presentDistrict Climate and Equity Committee liaison, member, presenter.2022 Presented NJPSA presenter Fall Conference. 2021 Earned Master of Education and Educational Leadership. 2018Awarded the 2018 Fredrick L. Nominated for the Science award for National Science Teaching Association. 2019 Presenter at the NJEA conference 2019/2020 for Science. 2019Equity Council Member of Lumberton Public Schools. Former District Partnered with Rowan University Equity and Inclusion to address some of the most persistent issues facing higher education. Rowan University will lead the country in developing systems and structures that facilitate university-wide collaboration that result in equitable opportunities and an affirming and responsive culture and climate.-Rowan University
