I served as legal intern from June 2018 – August 2018, and I was fortunate to be invited back for my Summer 2022 clerkship. I started my clerkship early in January 2022 to work on a transaction for a closely held business. I conducted legal research on issues pertaining to business litigation, and due diligence relating to corporate governance of closely held businesses. I independently drafted offers and purchase and sale agreements, demand letters, complaints, and crossclaims. I observed court hearings, trials, and depositions, while taking notes and organizing evidence. I picked up and filed documents at Suffolk Superior Court and the Sheriff's office. I corresponded and met with clients independently to review and deliver documents.
