Growing up, I aspired to become an attorney. However, towards the end of my college career, I witnessed my grandmother, who was like a mother to me, struggle to find trustworthy financial advice after my grandfather passed away. Despite meeting several advisors, she felt none were a good fit and expressed a desire to find a woman advisor whom she believed would better understand and earn her trust. This experience sparked my curiosity about the financial services field. Discovering the scarcity of female financial advisors, I felt a profound calling to become a Certified Financial Planner, driven by a desire to help others like my grandmother.
