Weir Oil & Gas designs and manufactures pumps and ancillary equipment for the global upstream and downstream oil and gas markets and provides aftermarket service and support activities.As the divisional marketing communications manager and being part of the senior management group, it is my responsibility to develop the strategy plan and execute global communications to the external market as well as lead the charge for our internal employee engagement communications. In addition to building a global Weir brand in the oil and gas market, I am responsible for new product launches and product brand management.Responsible for:- Developing annual communication strategy aligned to business strategies and include program execution of Tier 1 Exhibitions, global advertising, digital media (website, SEO, geo-targeting, etc.), print collateral, and promotions/sponsorships- Managing and executing corporate and product master brand strategy- Defining and implementing employee engagement programs (including EHS, policy deployment, crisis communications, and newsletters)- New product brand definition incorporating market positioning, differentiation and launch communication strategies and execution plans- Acquisition integration and trademark management and registration integrity- Global media relations and liaising external crisis communications media - Creating and maintaining divisional resource accessibility vehicles such as employee goods online store, internal sales collateral portal, marketing team’s cross-sharing resource directory for photo sharing, newsletters, etc.-
