My name is Jaclyn Piselli. I am a graduate of Bay Path University’s Post-Professional Occupational Therapy Doctorate with a focus in Higher Education, Quinnipiac University's Entry Level Master's Degree Program for Occupational Therapy within the School of Health Sciences, and Quinnipiac University’s Bachelor’s Degree Program for Health Sciences with a focus in Occupational Therapy. I am currently employed full-time at Bridgeport Hospital as an Occupational Therapist. I also work as a part-time professor at Quinnipiac University within the Occupational Therapy program. I am a caring occupational therapist with more than six years of experience successfully helping patients recover from injury and live life to the fullest. As a Level III Clinician, I help lead the OT through dedication to multiple roles within the health care system. I am the current Clinical Coordinator of Clinical Education, running the OT Student Program for Level I and II Fieldwork placements with surrounding institutions. I am a trauma committee member, NICU committee member, and safe patient handling committee member. I am a trained coordinator of the Phoenix Society for burn survivors. I have a strong passion for caring for others, demonstrating empathy, and educating clients on our services. I am a fast learner, open to feedback, and bring strong communication to a team of any size. I am reliable and can be depended on to achieve team goals and tasks if not on time, but early.
