- Demonstrate a measurable reduction in year over year total cost of ownership of services being sourced within the Travel Services category without compromising current quality or service levels- Serve as the lead for a cross-functional strategic team which includes representation from the internal customer and finance- Work independently to develop, manage and execute objectives and goals that are in line with our Travel Strategy- Manage supplier qualification, RFP, supplier selection, contract development, implementation, compliance, and ongoing management process- Ensure travel management provider(s) and travel service providers support our business travel requirements and needs as well as meet our service levels- Assist with creating a cost analysis on supplier pricing proposals as part of the evaluation process for supplier selection- Determine key metrics needed for reporting that will drive program goals and initiatives- Familiarization of tools and products to ensure optimal utilization with supporting travel program goals- Communicate with internal customers to ensure clarity of organizational goals relative to the travel program- Maintain overall relationships with vendors to maximize the value and service- Maintain awareness of all customer service matters including executive level needs - Support any internal actions that may require a resolution and/or communication- Manage and coordinate transition of employees from newly acquired business to our global travel program- Assist with quarterly compliance reporting- Drive compliance to internal policies and procedures including KPIs- Manage our Global Travel & Expense policy

- Report to Director of Product Management, responsible for a product line of over 100 suppliers representing $17 million in sales revenue for a leading distributor of Science Education Products- Work with Director of Product Management to set and define category strategies- Work independently to develop and execute objectives that are in line with category strategy- Responsible for conducting gap analysis in response to market needs and possible opportunities- Collect and analyze technical, financial, marketing and sales information for specific product lines- Manage and support marketing projects for catalog, promotions, and new product launches- Conduct annual pricing activities and maintain updates throughout the year - Negotiate and execute contracts with potential and current suppliers- Nurture supplier relationships and identify and pursue potential new suppliers- Conduct training for internal and external customers- Directly involved with supporting sales team- Assist with coordination of trade shows as well as attending these shows- Support website merchandising activities
