Goodreads is the world’s largest site for readers and book recommendations. Our mission is to help people find and share books they love.As a Program Manager II at Goodreads I own multiple initiatives centering on community management and customer care. These include the Goodreads Help product and the Goodreads Librarian Program.My personal work tenets support constant learning so that I have the knowledge to support my customers to enjoy our products. I have strong communication, and am able to collaborate with international teams and enjoy working with different types of people. I believe in leading by example at work and in the online communities that I manage, and in facilitating meaningful and data-driven conversation between the company and customers.Aside from my role, I am involved in multiple other diversity initiatives within Goodreads and Amazon, including acting as the head of Women at Amazon South Africa.

I oversaw the creation of all local ebooks. I built pages on the website and kept it updated and also worked on our social media sites (mainly Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest). I also performed other digital tasks within the company as well as offered assistance to members of the public regarding digital issues.
