I began working in veterinary medicine at a general practice animal hospital. There I built a foundation of my veterinary technician skills. I wanted to continue to grown my skill set and moved on to specialty medicine in the surgery department. There I grew as a technician and passed my VTNE to become an RVT. I spent 5 years working in the surgery department and grew from a lead into the surgery supervisor and held this position for 2 years. I wanted to advance into a different avenue of animal health and became passionate about nutrition. I currently work for JustFoodForDogs as a Veterinary Relations Specialist!
