In 2018 I joined the innovative Petros Business Solutions (Pty) Ltd as an Integration Specialist. I am responsible for creating custom integration solutions based on the client’s specific requirements and available infrastructure. Solutions were developed in both scripting and compiled languages, such as Powershell and ASP.Net Core. I also designed and implemented custom business rules and the corresponding data structures in T-SQL.

As senior developer I obtained client requirements, analysed the requirements and designed applications. As team leader I delegated designs to individual team members based on their strengths. Applications were mainly implemented in C# and MS SQL Server.I was responsible for delivering applications within the negotiated time period and managing client expectations. I lead the software support effort and always prioritised client relationships. I provided training for new developers. I documented my responsibilities into processes, reducing the time I needed to spend on it.

After completing my B.Eng. Computer Engineering degree at the University of Pretoria I was employed as a software engineer by the Expertron Group. I was responsible for server and client development using C, Perl and PHP programming languages, and interfacing to a MySQL database. I was involved in the design of websites using HTML and WML.I was responsible for managing a prepaid sales business. I contacted suppliers, interacted with potential clients and negotiated discounts. I quoted and invoiced clients based on services required and rendered. I managed the receptionist with day to day tasks, as well as long term goals. I managed the support team for a prepaid sales business, delegating responsibilities as and when required.
