Compiling Part lists for Product Using a complete sample PCB to compile a part list or part number for a specific component.Knowledge in regards with: Voltage , tolerance, temperature specificationManufacturer of components, part numbering. • Help buying department with Query’s• Using datasheets / verify alternative components• Use internet to acquire datasheets and additional info• Verify client documentation with regards to product. o Drawings, product overly, schematics, Part list etc.o Sending mails with queries (Queries regarding client documentation).• Help stores with verification of components from supplierso SMD & thru hole components, IC’s, diode etc.• Soldering THP and SMD components on PCB’so Solder of class 2 & 3 PCB’s for production. • Help with miner designs / testing.• Help with ECP, updating of documentationo ECP - Engineering change proposal. o Update BOM, buying list, OHIO/OMSo OMS – OMNIGO MANAGEMENT SISTEMo Keep track of current production; if ECP is required update all relevant documentation. • Calculating wastage on components / SMD machines • Calculating usage on copper wires and consumables• Verifying the part number of the components and changing it to the correct lead-free part if required.• Removal/Solder of BGA’s, using a datasheet to compile solder / removal portfolio for the component
