I have been working in the IT industry for over eighteen years in various technical roles, which include ten years of management roles. My technical background has suited me well in the past to challenge facts while managing technical teams and coaching staff in different situations. I have realised that I can make a more significant impact by leading and coaching teams. My leadership and coaching skills were further honed during my time as a volunteer at the National Sea Rescue Institute of South Africa, where I also occupied various leadership roles. I have a passion for growing and coach staff in their careers to better themselves and creating high-performance teams. I leverage my passion for innovation, business skills, and technical knowledge to quickly build relationships and transform them into long-term partnerships, founded on mutual trust and consistent delivery of positive outcomes. This includes the establishment and management of external vendors to provide the right size products to our customer’s at the most cost-effective price point.
