Responsible to serve as a Naval Officer as an inactive member of the U.S. Navy Ready Reserve (IRR) in student status. To check in and track closed criminal case files and to organize them into their correct placement on the shelves. To make copies of required legal paperwork and to check for accuracy of files and signature pages before they are accepted. To search for and remove from the shelves, files of defendants whom have allegedly violated the conditions of their supervised release set by the court, and are ordered to return to US District Court to show good cause for their violation (Order to Show Cause). Also to check criminal fugitive OSC cases for accuracy and to check them in and file them in the criminal file room. Also aiding colleagues and/or Assistant United States Attorneys (AUSA's) as needed.

To be available for disaster relief, trauma and/or crisis intervention, spiritual care and counseling both religious and secular, and to be an overall liaison to the Community for the Church. Also responsible for religious rites such as marriage, baptisms, home/hospital visits, house blessings, etc.

Patrol all areas owned and operated by Hyatt Regency Mission Bay, respond to calls for service by hotel guests and staff, ensure the safe and secure functioning of day-to-day hotel activities for guests and staff, to investigate potential crimes and report all findings to proper law enforcement, to write accurate, objective, and correct reports on all incidents and log daily activities, and to be available for emergency response throughout the hotel and adjacent marina.

I mostly do charter services; passengers pay to have me sail through the bay with them, narrating tours, or just standing quietly at the helm. I set up the vessel for photo opportunities and answer questions. Sometimes, I help facilitate the learning of basic sailing or power-boating.
