I am passionate about writing software for devices that have lasting positive impacts on the world through improving our lives and understanding of the world we all live in. I enjoy learning about new technologies and picking up new skills to help grow myself as a professional. I also enjoy sharing my life experiences with those around me while also learning from the experiences of others.I gain a great sense of satisfaction when I know the work I am doing is having a positive impact on the lives of others or furthering our collective understanding of the world around us. I have experience working in several different industries including aerospace, agriculture, defense robotics, and medical devices. I have also had opportunities during my education to work with professors on analysis of data to better understand topics including the effects of macular degeneration on the different tissue layers in the retina as well as studying phenomenon occurring in the Van Allen radiation belts surrounding the Earth.With all of my experiences I can say that I have a strong breadth of knowledge to bring to the table. I am a self-motivated worker that can thrive in a team environment to collaborate and overcome difficult challenges. I am always looking to grow as both an engineer and a person through my interactions with others. I aim to continue my growth towards becoming a stronger contributor and assuming more leadership in my work.
