As a PhD candidate in Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, I am passionate about advancing the knowledge and practice of renewable energy transitions in Africa and beyond. I have a strong background in electrical and electronics engineering, with a master's degree and a bachelor's degree from the University of Mines and Technology, Tarkwa.I have gained valuable research and leadership skills through various projects and roles, such as the research fellow at Circular Lagos, where I addressed the question of how digital infrastructure can improve the efficiency of plastics collection, the researcher at U-recycle Initiative Africa, where I developed a research strategy for the Plastic Wize campaign to influence behavioral change among young people, and the co-host of the Blue Climate Summit, where I facilitated discussions on ocean conservation and climate action. I have also received multiple honors and certifications, such as the GNPC Scholar, the Best Team Lead, and the Millennium Youth Impact Award, for my academic and professional achievements. I am motivated by the vision of creating a sustainable and inclusive future for Africa and the world, where energy is accessible, affordable, and clean for everyone. I am eager to collaborate with other researchers, practitioners, and stakeholders who share this vision and are committed to making a positive impact on the environment and society. I am proficient in data analysis, communication, and MATLAB, and I am always eager to learn new skills and technologies that can enhance my research and career.
