My team is responsible for creating and maintaining a platform of libraries and tools available for other internal development teams to utilize, which enhance their development experience and time to market. Examples of these tools include internal entitlements system, internationalization tool, release approval tool, suite/product navigation configuration and theming, among others. The tools we create have empowered hundreds of developers to deploy thousands of applications, quickly and securely. By automating away common tasks, UI, and infrastructure, we empower teams to focus on what makes their apps unique.Leveraging my experience as a software developer, I am able to collaborate with technical groups and business partners in order to facilitate a common understanding and define objectives. Frequently working with development teams within various repositories throughout Bayer Crop Science to assist with integration of the common platform.

I joined Bayer through the Entry Level Developer Program, an internal six-month technical and professional training program. I worked on a team developing an internal-facing production release approval application. In April 2019 I transitioned into an external-facing, full-stack development team. We followed a Scrum working style while creating the technical platform/MDN that enables and hosts a commerce web portal accessed by seedsmen, dealers, and farmers to manage their finances and orders. This custom platform provided the infrastructure that enables other software development teams in the space - this infrastructure included a common state management, navigation/routing, a deployment CLI, access to common resources, and various self-service configuration tools. My team leveraged Vue, NodeJs, Neo4J, and AWS to solve our daily tasks. On this team, I led the initiative to automate the team and platform's CI/CD pipeline, providing visual testing frameworks and a quick and reliable deployment cycle.Focusing on increasing our talent pool, I have provided additional value by becoming an ambassador between the company and local universities. I initiated capstone project sponsorship, attend career fairs, present tech talks, and contribute to a secondary team with the goal of making Bayer a premier IT destination.

Independent Contractor - Maintain agent/client relations and entertain patrons at events such as public festivals, company parties, and private events. Skills include juggling, stilt walking, balloon artistry, comedy, and unicycling. Performances include both team and independent work.

Responsibilities include programming in C#, HTML and JavaScript, participating in Agile sprints, and communicating with business partners to understand project requirements. Developed a test data tool to be used for internal testing purposes. Utilized ASP.net and MVC frameworks to complete this project.
