Worked as a student researcher under Professor Jeong-Yeol Yoon as a part of his biosensors lab. I worked with our COVID-19 paper microfluidics smartphone test. Specifically, I developed a major portion of the Python code we use to scan chips and collect data, and I designed some of our chips and handheld smartphone microscope in SolidWorks.

Worked as a student researcher for Principal Investigator Minkyu Kim alongside PHD candidate David Knoff tasked with performing protein purification of a cytoskeleton-inspired artificial protein for enhancing polymer network elasticity. Skills learned as a part of the team include protein gel electrophoresis, sonification, centrifugation, and other introductory wet lab techniques.

Completed an independent research project investigating the effect of environment shape on bacteria growth at the microscale. The project was completed with the mentorship of Principal Investigator Dr. Guillaume Lambert and mentor Matthew Henriques.
