He created a pareto chart showing the key drivers of both. He made a presentation to the site leadership and given to approval to proceed with his study plan to increase tool life. In a couple discussion with me, his insightful assessment of the situation helped to explain a condition that had appear to be contradictory. This kept us from taking the wrong actions.
