I started my career as a nuclear power physicist designing computer models, but I quickly caught the coding bug, and it has been a love story ever since. Coding is now a part of both my working life and my spare time. I really enjoy both writing small scripts and large programs, in a variety of codes. For a person gravitating towards new research and innovation, the nuclear industry became stifling after a few years. That is when I found finance. Financial mathematics, statistics, computer models, etc. are great fun for a physicist. And a field where companies always strive to be at the forefront!
