Develop and execute training packages for small groups in joint force headquarters. Group sizes range from 15 to 40. Focus on group-level critical thinking, tradecraft, and social dynamics, The packages typically include online courses (crawl), classroom lectures and discussions (walk), and a practical exercise (run). During the training, serve as the analyst for the small training teams that provide needed functional knowledge. Also serve as a trainer when needed. Upon completion of the training, develop and write the report that provides the commander or director with a summary of training, "sustains and improves,," and recommendations for future training.Serve a member of deployable training teams that observe and train joint force headquarfters during large joint exercises. Most important duties include developing the functional report and the training objective report. The functional report provides observations,analysis, and recommendations to the chief of staff and directors for changes and future training. The training objectives report summarizes the commander's and directorate training objectives and the level of success in achieving them.Conduct research to improve small group training and measurement of team learning and success. Each training package is tailored to training audience desires. Measurements are both qualitative and quantitative.

Developed executive briefings, correspondence, and staff packages for all levels including the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.Coached and assisted executives, middle managers, and line personnel throughout J-7 with all facets of administrative processes and worldwide coordination.Completed special projects such as developing and coordinating fourteen memorandums of agreement for DOD organizations that have personnel working in J-7. Managed 800 requests per year for assistance, coordination, and support received from the DOD, White House, and Congress.

Completed more than 100 action packages each year, which ranged from assessing strategic level documents to revising policy for accuracy and completeness.Developed products for executives to include decision packages, information papers, and the weekly presentation given to the USJFCOM Commander. Created descriptions of the policies and responsibilities used by senior leaders during USJFCOM deactivation and re-organization of the joint training community.Planned and organized meetings for executives that included agenda development, read-ahead materials, and worldwide video teleconferencing.

Served as the lead campaign planner and Army subject matter expert for seven war games that included more than thirty admirals and generals and 600 people in each event.Led the team that developed notional forces used in Unified Quest 03, the annual war game designed to assist Army and DOD efforts to plan for the future.Led an Army-Marine team that explored the operational value and feasibility of an Army air assault battalion operating from a modified container ship.
