As a Red Team Security Engineer, I hold the responsibility of assisting in completing mission objectives, developing tools to enhance and enable the abilities of operators, and maintaining existing tools utilized by the red team.Additionally, as my role has progressed, I have gained the responsibility of conducting persistent cyber operations and developing a test domain for the tools we create. With these expanded skills I have been able to learn how manage virtualized networks that are representative of an enterprise domain, and utilize my skill set of ethical hacking to replicate a threat actor and provide blue teams with the knowledge to defend against the tactics of APTs.With the growing role, the responsibility to assess Zero Trust networks and identify potential weaknesses that attackers may exploit has become my new challenge. Creating tools, procedures, and aiding in the development of test strategy, I have had the ability to actively impact the effectiveness of these assessments. With this I have provided a positive impact to our teams effectiveness to test and delivered on evolving customer goals and desires.
