As of the beginning of 2021, I'm over 5 years into being a hvac mechanic. Even working with a temp staffing agency, I generally elevate to somewhat of a leadership role within the crew. I've trained multiple guys and help them understand not only how to do what they're doing, but why they're doing it as well.

I learned to install hvac duct, I've worked in commercial buildings such as hospitals, schools, etc. I learned to diagnose problems as well as come up with solutions and put them into action. 1.5 years into my trade career, I was thrust into a leadership role, Taking over a job that was behind schedule. As a 19 year old, turning 20, I was giving direction to men twice my age, Coordinating with other trades, and working with my own toolbelt on. By the time the job was complete, we had caught up schedule-wise and still turned a profit for the company.
