I help makers, artists, and engineers realize their visions through a variety of tools and media.Hold weekly office hours to onboard, train, and assist users with a variety of academic and personal projects utilizing tools and capabilities including 3D printing, soldering and electronics/software projects, lasercutting, CNC routing, woodshop, and sewing.

Lead a team designing and building a high-altitude research device, capable of reaching over 100,000ft.In this role I plan team meetings, manage long-term goals, meet with sponsors, arrange finances and ordering as well as guide the team's engineering focus and progress.I specialize in the tracking system I designed, which utilizes an Arduino-based flight computer with an handheld radio transceiver to communicate the balloon's location over long distances. The flight computer itself is written in C++ that combines GPS tracking and sensor reading (humidity, temperature, pressure, etc) and logs to storage for later analysis. I am teaching less experienced members the basics of C/C++ & Arduino and electrical engineering to contribute to the project.I co-authored a successful grant proposal for New York Space Grant Consortium to help fund this project. Additionally, I serve on the club's Administrative board, providing insights to guide the organization‘s strategic decisions and growth.

Member of a team building autonomous algal sampling boat. Responsible for design and fabrication of centralized power distribution system for boat motors and controllers.Aided in testing and writing sampling code, design of sampling system, and preliminary boat controls. Received grant to apply project to university President’s park restoration project (featured in the New York Times).

Serve as webmaster for the organization‘s Jekyll-based website. Optimized the site and decreased page load times by 85%. Design and code new pages in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript using Bootstrap.My focus has been modernizing layouts for a positive mobile experience, optimizing load times, and ensuring information is both up-to-date and accessible. For example, under the direction of the organization leadership I implemented a new Join Us page to help quickly onboard potential members.

Assisting IoT research in the Internet Real Time Lab (IRT). My work focuses on two topics: 1) JSON Web Tokens for ongoing projects; 2) Multi-agent decision making methods for IoT policy systems.

Spearheaded chain drive system, advocating for a change from previous years for a more performant drive sprocket. Learned automotive racing simulation software to run in-depth simulations, demonstrating design viability to higher-ups. Engineered and manufactured 33% lighter aluminum alloy sprocket and matching guards after simulations and finite element analysis.

During my tenure as an Autonomous Systems Team Member, I authored crucial subsections of the proposal for an autonomous boat. This involved software implementation on Raspberry Pi, PID control, calibration, and data communication. Acting as an intermediary between a 5-member programming team and the electrical and mechanical teams, I facilitated coordination, explored design possibilities, and addressed constraints to ensure seamless integration.
