Some time ago, at 14 years old, when I first started working is when the development began and I became what I am today in the working world. My profile here is mostly geared toward my focus this day and age which happens to be Information Technology. What have I done before finding this passion? Just a couple jobs to explore who I was. I have washed dishes, waited tables, bused tables, built buildings, landscaped, painted, cleaned carpets, cared for disabled, stood guard, fought for freedom, printed magazines, made paper, welded, detailed automobiles, renovated apartments, sliced meat, refinished wood floors, provided medical support, and worked on automobiles. I may be forgetting a few but my point is that I have worked with many types of people in many facets of business. I am fortunate to have this kind of "jack of all trades" label. This means I fit in anywhere. I had known for years that I enjoyed Information Technology and had finally decided I was no longer just going to wish I could move forward in the field. Computers have always appeared to me as amazing tools with unlimited potential and that is real. The last seven years I was blessed with the opportunity to dive head first into Information Technology. After being a Medic in the Army National Guard with one combat tour under my belt I needed change. My military unit expressed to me that they strongly wanted to retain me as part of the team. So I made a deal with them. "Send me to Information Technology school and I will continue to serve and apply the same or more effort than I had for the last twelve years." And so it began. Ever since then I have taken every educational and personal development opportunity that has arisen. I completed my second combat tour in my IT job and in my spare time I try to take advantage of the abundance of educational material that I have at my disposal. This makes me happy.
