In 2020 I founded Opeongo, a camping hammock business that saw immediate success on Kickstarter in April 2020 being funded 1300+% of our goal and reaching 403,000 by the end of the campaign. This hammock tent is based on my original design that I first made in high school and then went into professional development starting in the summer of August 2018.Since the start of the business The Opeongo AERIAL A1 has become one of the most beloved tents on the market with overwhelmingly good reviews and thousands of tents sold to date.

During my time at school and then into my professional work I have spent time both working with companies to create their branding, website assets and logos. As well that I have been selling my work on print-to-order websites such as RedBubble.

My work with Audioscan was primarily involving Mechanical design work working with 3D printed and Injection molded parts that work around technology as well as integration with other hard and soft goods. My mechanical design duties also took me into doing a considerable amount of structural soft goods design.In addition to my primary duties I oversaw a rebranding initiative for the company as a whole, handled graphic design duties for print, hardware, merchandising, graphics, and displays, handled the wireframing/ prototyping of the updated website using Figma integrating with Wordpress.I saw a large amount of growth in my skills in understanding manufacturing tolerances, injection molding, and CAD design.

At Fil-Trek I worked as a Mechanical Designer designing, editing, assessing, estimating, quoting, and sourcing multisized fluid and gas filters. During my time at the company, I personally handled tens of millions in quotes, personally quoting such companies as Tesla, Rivian, Suez, Evoquia, and Veolia.During my employment, I gained and used working professional skills in Solidworks, Genius ETM, Sharepoint, Compress, Excel and Power BI. In this role, I used and gained a working professional knowledge in Genius, Sharepoint, Compress, Excel and Power BI. From this job I have gained significant experience in the manufacturing and hard goods side of CAD design working with everything from interchangable part ready assemblys all the way to welding notation.

During my time working for Outdoors oriented I had a role that was split between face-to-face retail work and working on the back end making ads, signs, and working with the website. I learned a lot about the outdoors goods industry from working at this store, especially as its now one of the longest running and last independent camping stores in southern Ontario with access to amazing products made by such companies at Eureka, MSR, The North Face and Patagonia. On the back end I gained experience working with their Shopify driven website and gained further skill in HTML Coding as well as graphic design, photography and photoshopping work.

I worked at Salus for my third-year internship for number college. During the course of this internship, I got to work on projects relating to whitewater kayaking, youth buoyancy jackets, oil tanker suits, handicap accessories and assisted on a project for the Canadian Military. In addition to that, I handled a majority of the graphic design needed for email banners and advertisements for the company during my time there. My primary role was drawing, pattern making and designing lifejackets.

Primarily worked in sales as well as creating graphics for a few pieces of merchandise. At this store bikes such as Cervelo, Linus, Cannonade, Kona and Specialized.
