• Performed all planning, sample preparation, test execution, data analysis, report generation and wrap-up activities that were required for the successful completion of four separate test projects, interfacing with project requestors at every stage to ensure their continued satisfaction• Gained substantial experience in the use of Instron force testing machines by conducting mate/unmate testing, terminal insertion/retention force testing, and tensile pull force testing on various Molex electrical connectors and cables• Attained basic competency on other lab instruments such as stereo microscope, XRF plating thickness analyzer, ultrasonic cutting tool, wave solder machine and drop impact testing apparatus• As a member of a nine person cross-functional team, assisted full-time test engineers with the sample preparation and test execution phases of the projects they were managing• Became proficient in administering my test projects from start to finish using two software applications developed in-house by the Reliability Engineering Laboratory

• Evaluated several hydrogen gas sensors as candidates for installation at the Metsamor Nuclear Power Plant in Metsamor, Armenia• Installed the CFD code GASFLOW and the 3D visualization program ParaView on Linux and Windows computers and explored the functionality of both programs in depth, laying the foundation for the upcoming task of running a simulation of hydrogen generation following a severe accident at the Metsamor plant • Produced a written report documenting the findings of my hydrogen sensor research and a user manual detailing the procedures I used to install and execute GASFLOW and ParaView at Argonne, thus enabling the Metsamor plant operators to duplicate said procedures on their own machines
