I am a senior at the Harriet L. Wilkes Honors College with majors in Biology and Mathematics and a minor in French Studies. I am currently an Undergraduate Researcher, working in a Microbiology lab, focusing on the exploration of the microbiome of a halophilic succulent. I have worked as a Teaching Assistant for the introductory Biology Lab courses for two years, where I have helped the instructor in the setup and take down for experiments, aided in writing lab manuals and quizzes, and offered office hours for students. I also serve as a tutor in Biology to gain additional expertise in Biology education. I additionally worked as a French tutor for two years, providing open tutoring services for students. I am passionate about learning about different topics in Biology and Mathematics, and I enjoy learning about the two in conjunction. I plan on continuing my education in Biology by pursuing a PhD after completing my undergraduate degrees in 2025.
