I'm a laboratory technician at Kaneka North America, responsible for ensuring product quality and assuring customer specifications are continuously being met. In this role, I perform numerous tests on our products, calibrate and utilize various laboratory equipment, carry out routine safety inspections, and assist in special projects assigned to me. The best part of my job is being exposed to great coworkers and managers that I can learn from. This exposure helps me grow towards my goals as an employee as well as being a productive team member of Kaneka.Prior to Kaneka, I worked for Kinder Morgan as a Terminal Operator at the Ethanol Rail Terminal. While there, I was extremely lucky to have knowledgeable coworkers with many years of terminal and plant experience working next to me.
