I was able to work with the team at Red Ventures responsible for maintaining their website Allconnect.com. I learned to utilize real world software engineering best practices and accomplish projects in an agile workflow through JIRA tickets. I learned a tremendous amount about Front End development with React, Preamp, Webpack, Parcel, and many other types of software. I also learned to connect portions of the application to our Back End structure built in Word Press and with the companies custom Transformation API. This internship allowed me to do real and impactful tasks that have already gone into production and made actual changes to the Allconnect.com webpage, such as changes in the email banner, the speed quiz, sending more accurate location data to the Back End for more accurate internet results, and displaying tech types wherever Allconnect's results page is hosted on other websites.
