Account management job duties performed at multiple Scripps Clinics within assigned territory, mainly in Orthopedic Departments, Urgent Cares, and Surgery Centers. Overall main job duties include: account management, inventory/audit reconciliation, exceeding sales objectives, capturing market share, building new and maintaining current relationships with providers, department managers, and company executives, and lastly, being the customer/client facing product expert to answer all questions and provide solutions in areas that are not performing adequately. Provides customer service to clinics, physicians, therapists, and patients. Responds to questions, issues, and problems of moderate to complex scope, and handles all defective products and returns them to DJO for replacement. Serves as a liaison between customer and sales team. Promotes business and drives sales growth in accounts by building relationships with medical professionals in all departments. Educates and trains office staff to maintain inventory in accordance with OSHA regulations and instructs office staff on how to handle, document, and reissue products in the case of defective products.. Manages product mix of franchise vs. non-franchise to designated level. Responsible for the coordination and completion of required audits of inventory.Ensures proper completion of DJO measuring forms and Insurance Billing Information forms for functional brace fitting, and is responsible for pre-authorization of claims as required by individual insurance contracts. Works within EMRs to access appropriate patient information for billing, as well as to read and understand medical records. Performs functional brace measuring and fitting as prescribed by the physician's of the clinic as well as proper fitting and education of soft goods, bracing, bone growth stimulation, and all other DJO products.

Assists MD, PT, OT, and RN's in lifting, transferring, gait-training, and exercising patients. Provides aid for patient treatment as directed by licensed therapy personnel in both Oncology and Stroke units. Assists wound care nurse in cleaning, dressing, and documenting patient’s wounds. Maintains sanitary, orderly conditions in department. Sets up rooms for patients with infectious diseases by making sure correct warning signs are visible, proper PPE for the specific disease is readily available, and coordinating with EVS cleaning crew members in sanitizing room post discharge. Inventories departmental equipment; ensures equipment is in good working order. Fabricates equipment as directed; performs set-up of patient-related equipment such as walkers, maximove slings, hovermats, and wheelchairs. When needed assists rapid response team in resuscitation efforts in code blue scenarios. Helps security manage, deescalate, track down, and keep employees and guests safe during code green situations. Teaches newly hired employees of all titles and current employees in the most efficient and proper use of medical devices that assist in either gait-training, moving, sliding, turning, etc...

Performed basic and advanced life support in both emergency and critical care transports. Used my ability to interpret limited patient histories, my comprehensive understanding of nuanced interpersonal dynamics, and my capacity to conduct quick yet thorough physical examinations to identify potentially critical underlying issues in my patients. Had the quickest average “on scene response time” to dispatched calls in the company due in large part to my innate sense of anticipation and preparedness.
