I am a proud space nerd and laser geek, pursuing a double major in photonics and aerospace engineering at the University of Central Florida. I have been part of a design team for the electrical systems of an ion propulsion engine for two year, and am currently the manager for the electrical systems on our Hall effect thruster. I keep a rigorous academic load being a double major, and have completed multiple semesters over credit hour limits (working on 23 credits in Spring '24). I have also worked on research for extraterrestrial atmospheric modeling with Dr. Ramses Ramirez and with Dr. Konstantin Vodopyanov's research group at UCF CREOL developing mid-infrared and terahertz spectroscopy systems, where I've begun a thesis on the mechanical miniaturization of a dual-comb spectroscopy setup.
