Since joining the Phi Chi Theta brotherhood at Penn State I have had the opportunity as one of our philanthropy chairs to reach out to many companies and groups in need in the greater State College area. In this position I have coordinated multiple philanthropic events. These include having brothers donate their time to these organizations in need, or different fundraisers to raise money for the organization.

As a Special Projects Developer we were tasked with the maintenance and development of three websites used both internally and externally by THON stakeholders. When new ideas were brough to us, we developed full stack new sites from creation to execution and continually improve and debug these new sites.Created THON Polling Website used by over 20,000 users THON weekend allowing for greater spectator interaction. Built using VUE.js, Python, DjangoDB, deployed using Docker and AWS

As the supply logistics liaison for the Special Events committee of THON 2022 I get the unique opportunity to supply each of our captains with events with the necessary supplies needed for their event. Some of these events include the THON 5k, 100 days 'til THON, THON Family Carnival, and the Closer to a Cure Celebration. This role includes fostering good relationships with more than 100 THON volunteers, planning and executing large events, and creating open, seamless communication between volunteers. Additionally, I co-captain a committee of 27 student volunteers where my co-captain and I lead weekly meetings to inform our committee members, teach them their roles for the different THON events, and create a safe and welcoming community between many students coming from different paths.

During my freshman year I was granted the opportunity to be a captain in Penn States Homecoming. I was the Inventory Management Captain, where my job was to supply each Homecoming event with the necessary supplies needed, communicate with many Homecoming directors and captains to help out where needed and supply each event to the best of our inventory. Most importantly, my role culminated with the annual PSU Homecoming Parade, where I communicated with the Homecoming Parade Captains to supply them and each organization in the parade with the necessary supplies needed. I also got the unique opportunity to assist the Parade Captains at the start line of the parade, where we were tasked with organizing hundreds of students and organizations into the correct order in a safe fashion.
