After working as a professional musician for several years, I attended law school at the University of Georgia. While in law school, I also worked as a law clerk for various law firms, gaining experience in a variety of civil legal matters, including contract disputes, tort litigation, and real estate. I also worked with the Athens-Clarke County Public Defender’s Office under Georgia’s Third-Year Practice Rule, assisting with the representation of the indigent of Athens-Clarke County in Superior Court, appearing in court and handling arraignments and probation hearings. After law school, I worked with various attorneys in private practice at several small firms. Those jobs exposed me to a wide variety of both transactional and litigation matters, including a combination of corporate law and real estate matters for non-profit and business entities. Those jobs led me to ultimately accept a position at my current firm, where my practice now focuses on real property and corporate litigation and transactional work. In addition to my active litigation practice, I also continue enjoy working hand in hand with clients on their day to day, week to week corporate matters, simple and complex. One of the best parts of my practice is that I am able to get to know my client's needs and operations in detail, which allows the work to be much more rewarding for both me and my clients as we see the results of our combined efforts. I strive to understand my clients' needs and make them a reality in as efficient a manner as possible.
