As an Operator for Ameritex, I directed plant operations and technical controls for two Packerhead pipe machines and four mixers, serving as Assistant Supervisor and Team Lead for 15 personnel and two manufacturing lines. I communicated and collaborated with the Production Manager, Plant Manager and Machine Leads to optimize operational efficiency and minimize downtime. Additionally I maintained inventory and prepared operational reports and presentations.My success stories in this position include: oversight of the production of 1000 tons of pipe and flow of 2000 tons of concrete on a daily basis with less than 5% waste; reduction of machine downtime to under one hour per 12-hour shift without sacrificing routine cleaning; exceeding the plant’s monthly production record by 5000 tons in October 2020.

I generated maintenance reports and summary presentations, engaged in inventory management, and troubleshot and repaired plant machines and equipment.Some notable accomplishments included: the development and implementation of a new preventative maintenance schedule; a 10% reduction in machine downtime through operator training on basic maintenance; and the successful inputting of thousands of parts/equipment items into a CMMS logistics tracking program for the first time in company history.
