As a substitute special education aid, I take over the role of helping disabled children with their schoolwork and daily challenges during the day. I work diligently with them, inside and outside the classroom, making sure they are learning to the best of their ability as well as making sure they stay safe. In the mornings, I get them off the bus and into class, and in the afternoon, I make sure they safely make it on their bus home.
