I bartend and serve at the Thirsty Moose Taphouse, an up and coming restaurant brand based in New Hampshire. At our location in Dover, we have 80 different beers on tap, as well as a large selection of canned and bottled beverages. A lot to keep track of, but having knowledge of all different types of beers and local breweries has helped me not only know what I’m serving, but be able to recommend drinks to my guests based on their taste and the food they’re eating.

I host Trivia Night on Tuesdays at Cara Irish Pub in Dover. Knowing that Tuesday is generally a slow night for a restaurant, trivia is a great way to get patrons into the building to generate more revenue. I announce all the questions and answers, interact with the guests, and give out prizes.
