During the summer of 2017, I had the opportunity to further my training alongside the Mt.Prospect management team to further my own development and leadership skills.

Business Careers House is an On-Campus Living Learning Community for business majors. The mission is to create and foster a community among business students that facilitates greater awareness of business topics relevant to business students, develops relevant business-related skills (academic, professional and personal) and provides opportunities for interaction amount other residents, faculty and business professionals.My Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Engaging students in College of Business activities and organizations specific to major early in their NIU experience; Increasing academic success in College of Business, especially with respect to toll courses; Connecting business students with companies of College of Business Alumni and other networks; Assisting business students develop business skills (Etiquette, interview skills, dressing for success and personal finance)The Business Careers House is located on floors 8-12 in Grant C.
