Would manage floor help, order products for my department(grilling, automotive, outdoors) through vendors, and perform customer service at checkout. I also was the in store safety liason, and would help conduct and speak at store team meetings with a team of 15+. Tech support is another responsibility I had at this job.

Managed and handled money for closing and delivering to the bank. Developed weekly schedules for employees and coordinated truck drop offs and deliveries. Managed the store in the absence of the Store Manager. Conducted multiple interviews and oversaw hiring processes.

My time working at Corner Pantry was mainly spent in the kitchen cooking food for the public. Other duties I would take included cleaning out the minnow tank, stocking the store when needed, filling and stocking bags of ice, cleaning the store, and waiting on customer. At times during my employment, I would also help customers take out their groceries, and help others pump their gas. My favorite experiences here were meeting so many international workers who would stop by and hear their stories from their homes and how different our upbringings are.

My day-to-day tasks included working the register, checking dates on products, stocking products, recovering the store, and cleaning up the store.
