I have been attending Washington State University for three years now and with that time have come many alterations to my career path. Initially, I wanted to study Mathematics as I have always been good at working with numbers; however, I soon found what I wanted to do in the Carson College of Business. The problem-solving and critical thinking of the business world connected with me on a personal level, and so I had chosen Finance as my major instead. A year later, I decided to switch to Accounting as its practices appealed to me more. Currently, I plan to continue studying Accounting until my graduation in May 2026. To support my studies, I am also seeking to gain an internship in a small-to-medium-size firm over the summer. I plan to gain my CPA license after I am able to save up enough money to be able to gain my remaining credits while working at an accounting firm. As for my long-term plans, I am interested in criminal justice and seek to hopefully find a career in that industry once I have gained enough experience in accounting.As of now, my cumulative GPA is 3.22. I have also been involved in many extracurriculars such as Carson EDGE, Cougs Lead, and Delta Sigma Pi. From these communities, I have learned to appreciate making a positive impact on my community.
