Eugene Trucking is a contractor for FedEx Ground. I drive pup trailers and occasional 53-footers to various cities across the country. My co-driver and I are responsible for pre- and post-trip inspections for the tractor, trailers and dollies used. We drive 5,000+ miles as a team almost every week and have managed over 7,500 in our best weeks. I have my Doubles and Triples, Tankers and HazMat endorsements. My record is clean and has been for three years.

I was in charge of receiving and organizing the raw materials used to help build E-line trucks for various oil fields. I cut and prepared aluminum and steel for several different parts of the truck so that the rest of crew could grab the 'kit'​ and assemble it as needed. I saved the company thousands of dollars by ensuring the saw blades were used properly, instead of breaking another blade every week, as had been the case previously. I saved time and damage to materials by organizing the racks to easily find what was needed and keep materials from getting mangled on the racks. I saved more time, effort and money by cutting almost all the material needed in the entire shop; improving accuracy, minimizing wasted material significantly and allowing other employees to focus on work in their particular areas.Unfortunately, when oil prices dropped we also felt the affects and most of the employees were laid off. I wasn't needed, even though appreciated.
