Jake Bradshaw is a 26 year old visual artist from Georgia in the United States of America. ​Although Jake has always been interested in creating, his skills and approach to art-making became refined as an undergraduate student at Young Harris College where he received a BA in Visual Art in 2016. Throughout college, Jake's art and research addressed the themes of feminism, femininity, gender, and sexuality. These themes continue to be a major focal point in his current work. ​After graduating from Young Harris College, Jake attended the University of Leeds where he received an MA in Art Gallery and Museum Studies in 2017. While at Leeds, he was lucky enough to study under Griselda Pollock, a professor of philosophy, gender, and sexuality. His continued interest in these concepts led him to conduct research into the relation between feminist narratives and the Palazzo Venier dei Leoni in Venice, Italy. Upon completing his Master's degree, Jake returned to Young Harris College and worked as the director and social media specialist of Young Harris College's Campus Gate Art Gallery until 2019. Jake currently lives with his husband and their Boston Terrier in Ellijay, Georgia. They own Forget Me Not Farm where they grow produce and make art.
