• UW Stout Student Director - Oversaw the training of all techs. In charge of scheduling, working with other managers to oversee the operation of the Helpdesk, handling disciplinary actions, and general running of the Helpdesk.• UW Stout Helpdesk Manager - Used phone, email, and interviews to recruit and hire new employees. Collaborated with fellow managers and co-workers for training ideas and materials. Oversaw the flow of the Helpdesk functions and provided insight and changes where needed to achieve a median of employee and customer satisfaction.• UW Stout Helpdesk Technician - Assisted students and faculty with technical issues at the helpdesk. Created documented tickets to track repair(s) and provided excellent customer service. Installed drivers based on knowledge of laptop model, and installed software as-needed. Also removed many different forms of malware and viruses. Customer support was provided both over the phone and in person at a helpdesk for varying software and hardware issues. Acted as a peer tutor for new hires as well.• UW Stout Quality Assurance Technician - Played an instrumental role in the background functionality of Technology Helpdesk by tracking inventory, cleaning computers, preparing for equipment deployments, imaging, tier two troubleshooting, and making detailed inspections of equipment.

Internship during summer of 2016 and 2017The Network Engineer provides assistance on network technologies to managers, project managers, technicians and/or Infrastructure team members. Under the direction of a Network Engineer Senior, this person may be involved with planning, implementing, and supporting new or existing complex networking and telecommunications systems. This individual provides technical assistance in networking/telecommunications planning, architecture and execution.Essential Job Responsibilities:• Researches and analyzes networking/telecommunications systems, procedures and information requirements.• Assists with monitoring and analyzing network performance.• Conducts basic troubleshooting for network issues in a timely manner and/or escalates issues to the appropriate individual or department.• Maintains routers, gateways, remote access servers, security firewalls, and Internet connections.• Assists with testing to ensure the stability of the network.• Collaborates with systems development on hardware installations including WAN.• Assists with preventive and fault isolation maintenance on WAN.• Designs, configures, maintains and manages network security features for local and wide area networks. Configures, monitors, and maintains anti-virus programs to ensure network and systems integrity.• Works as a member of team to plan, develop, implement, and support networking/telecommunications systems.• Assists with preparing documentation for operating instructions, procedures, and controls to assure trouble free operation of systems.• Ensures network connectivity of all servers, telephone systems, and other network appliances.• Provides input for new products.• Provides resolution for basic networking/telecommunications problems, or escalates to Senior Network Engineer.

Constructed sets for the UW Stout Theater. Taught students how to properly and safely use tools, machines, and hardware. Team and independent work. Strict time frames insured the use of planning and careful scheduling.
