I am currently employed as a Structural Engineer III within the infrastructure and projects group of CDM Smith located in Chicago, IL and am a licensed profession engineer in the state of Illinois (License No. 062.074047). The majority of my design work includes, but is not limited to, water treatment facilities, waste water treatment facilities, various infrastructure projects (rail primarily). Additional design work included the evaluation and retrofitting of existing structures.Additionally, I have previous experience with bridge design. Within my graduate program, I worked as a graduate research assistant at Iowa State University working on a project team that investigated the AASHTO LRFD minimum reinforcement requirement in bridge girders, specifically post-tensioned segmental girders. Within this project, our team constructed and tested 4 scaled models of a typical AASHTO box girder to examine the response of both unbonded and bonded specimen. Within my work, extra curricular, and school experience I have gained skills working with engineering software such as Staad, SAP2000, Enercalc, Autocad, Autocad Revit, Matlab, and Microsoft excel. I also gained experience working with structural drawing and reading code such as ASCE, ACI, PCI and AASHTO LRFD. I believe my best attributes are my work ethic, dilligance, and leadership abilities.
