With over five years of medical experience throughout many specialties of medicine I have gained much experience in the medical field. The experience and knowledge I have comes from my time working in family practice, disability, pediatric, OBGYN, laboratory setting, and geriatric bedside care as well as being on the president's and deans list during my time in college pursing a medical assisting certification while also acting as class president.I have knowledge and experience with various diagnostics such as EKG's, pulmonary function tests, ankle brachial index, venipuncture, and vital signs. I also have knowledge of administering injections and retrieving swabs from patients for flu,strep,covid, and GC/Chlamydia. My knowledge also extends to laboratory tests for blood,stool, and urine.At the start of the pandemic and lockdown I was 22 years old and I oversaw a lab to preform and manage covid tests for Coastal Family Health Center.I am currently pursuing a career in the medical field while working to get to my BSN in biology my goal for this profile is to reach out and build mutual connections that everyone can benefit from.
